It directly affects 1. The effect of ink layer; 2. Drying, overprint effect, and then affect the printing speed; 3. Constancy of printing quality; 4. Graphic quality. On the other hand, the roller is separated from the printer supplier, and the material is not used to continuously improve the performance. It is independently supplied by the manufacturer specializing in the production of roller. The printer supplier may not give too many suggestions to flexographic manufacturers for commercial reasons. Therefore, it is easy for manufacturers to consider one thing and lose the other when choosing corrugated rollers. So from the perspective of users, how should we choose the corrugation roller correctly to improve the printing quality? This is an urgent problem to be solved by the majority of flexible printing manufacturers. It is also the problem we want to discuss now. I hope the following experience will be helpful to you. Now we will analyze it from four aspects: the technology of roller hole, ink and roller, printing plate and roller, and the problem of flexible printing

first of all, let's start with the most discussed wrinkle roll eyelet technology

next, we need to choose the corrugated roller. We should choose the 60 angle laser engraving ceramic corrugated roller. Harper's first 60 degree corrugated roller has now become a generally recognized power battery factory of 3-star SDI and LG chemistry in the industry, which has completed the standard and believes that the best printing effect can be achieved

here, we might as well review the history of corrugated rollers. The first generation of corrugated roller is chrome plated roller (chromeroll)

There was no problem with the chrome roller at the beginning. But after the emergence of the doctor blade, there was a problem. The surface of the chromium layer is quickly worn by the doctor blade, and the wall becomes extremely wide. Because the wall part cannot carry ink, the amount of ink that can be transferred is greatly reduced. The wide and non inked area of the wall cause pinholes and small white stripes on the printed matter, and at the same time, it brings problems such as insufficient color saturation. therefore, people turned to the use of mechanically carved ceramic rollers. It is to spray a layer of ceramics on the surface of the mechanically carved chromium roller. The service life of the corrugation roller thus obtained is longer than that of the original chrome surface corrugation roller. However, the wall is still very wide, the hole arrangement angle is still 45 degrees, the hole even presents an irregular shape, and the release of ink decreases

then, laser engraved corrugated rollers appeared. At first, they followed the precedent and still followed the 45 degree acupoint arrangement. This greatly improves the quality of the corrugated roller. But still can not get rid of the shortcomings of the wall is very wide. Until 1989, Harper company of the United States first established 60 degrees, that is, large-scale manufacturing → large-scale customization → interconnected factory corner arrangement, which has become the industry standard so far

we can easily find that the 60 degree corrugated roller wall is very thin, which provides conditions for more stable ink transfer. However, the 45 degree corrugation roller cannot be eliminated in the area circled in the figure. Therefore, printing will still have the problem of insufficient color saturation. The shape of the hole on the 60 degree corrugation roller is hexagonal. The slider fixed with the sample is placed in the center of the first sample without impact, which is different from the 45 degree diamond. This is because the laser head travels in different order during laser engraving
